About this business

A Story of Food along the slow road of the Causeway Coastal Route showcasing Northern Ireland food & drinks.

A journey to meet and greet with local people and the stunning scenery of coast and countryside all in one journey.  A unique deli-style Taste The Island breakfast plate in the setting of a former bank and hub of the community with garden dining an option.  Taste traditional bread at the family bakery holding 49 Great Taste Awards with soda, potato, and wheaten bread to sample.  Stopping in a ‘living breathing postcard’ village of Ballygally visit 1625 built Castle on the Coast serving Irish Tapas and Craft Gin, with time to explore the castle or beach.  Take in the scenery and relax as we embrace the coastline around each village and Glen. You will see why many fall in love with the nine Glens of Antrim.  World-famous organic smoked salmon and organic shorthorn beef are from farm to fork.  Enjoy tasting this unique offering at source after exploring the splendor of Glenarm Castle Estate Walled Gardens. A former Coaching Inn n under the limestone railway arches, looking over the harbor you can sample local craft drinks and whiskey from the world’s oldest distillery all served up with a sweet and salty treat.  Truly shaped by fire and ice, a dramatic view ending in a final toast and tasting in the home of one of Ireland’s smallest pubs, even the chance to pour your own pint of the black stuff. #EmbraceaGiantSpirit.

The signature full-day food tour is not the only experience on offer.  With over 30 experience in partnership, you can customize your food tastings with the things you would like to see and do.  Adventure can take you kayaking or horse riding or perhaps cliff walks along the stunning coast.  Discover waterfalls and forest parks or enjoy a selection of walled and manicured gardens.  Enjoy your food tour with a visit to some notable attractions along with the journey, the UNESCO site of the Giants Causeway, The Goblin’s Cliff Path, Hillsborough Castle or let’s take a different road and find the hidden gems.  Food and feasting go hand in hand so if you are a Game of Thrones® be sure to let us know so we can point out the multiple filming locations along the way.  Want to have a hands-on experience then you might want to combine a day of two halves, visiting a traditional blacksmith, an artist at work, or cook and eat at the home with a local, all served up with food tastings along your chosen tour.
